Kyra Karatsu is an alumna from UC Santa Barbara's Class of 2024 and graduated with a B.A. in Communication & a Minor in Professional Writing. When she isn't writing, she edits free, openly-licensed textbooks for the Online Education department at College of the Canyons or works for UCSB's HSSB Administration Support Center (HASC). Kyra is interested in building a career that puts education at the center of her focus and hopes to continue advocating for equitable, accessible learning opportunities.
