Students spend more than $1,000 per year on textbooks. Moreover, students with disabilities may not be even able to access these textbooks. In working with Online Educational Resources (OER) and Zero Textbook Cost (ZTC) programs to promote free, accessible, and openly-licensed educational materials, academia can become one step closer to creating an equitable, inclusive environment for all.
